Christopher Peter Meloni, an American actor, is most well-known for his role in the television show 'Law & Order Special Victims Unit. In college, he began to take an interest in acting. At his school, the University of Colorado at Boulder, he studied acting. While he has appeared in movies and in television shows however, it's his characters portrayed on small screens which have earned him acclaim. He is able to play characters from both the bad and good aspects in the law enforcement system. He can draw the attention of viewers easily. On his debut TV show in which he played the role of a murderer. Later, he was able to take on the role of an NYPD Detective. In recognition of his performance in the small screen, he's been up for nomination several times for the prestigious Emmy Awards. His piercing blue eyes his face have been deemed to be his most attractive feature. The eyes have been employed to portray rough characters as well as give them a sense of humour. The actor was featured in People's magazine's list of Sexiest Men Alive in 2006.
