Aubrey Peeples

Aubrey Peeples (born Aubrey Peeples) is an American actor and singer from the United States. She was awarded the highest number of accolades for her performance in the roles of Layla Grant and Claudia Shepard and Claudia Shepard for her roles in Nashville (2012). She also played the lead role of Jerrica Jem Benton on the movie Jem and the Holograms (2015). Aubrey Peeples grew up in Lake Mary Florida by parents Wendy and Ashley. She is the younger sibling of Ally. Aubrey was an actor with Orlando Repertory Theatre during her early years. She graduated from Lake Mary Preparatory School where she was valedictory speakers for the class in 2012. Harvard University admitted her, but she had to agree to her admission the second time due to her Nashville performance. Peeples was a guest in Drop Dead Diva (2009) Burn Notice (2007) Drop Dead Diva (2009) Burn Notice (2007) Austin & Ally Austin & Ally Grey's Anatomy (2005), and played a recurring character for the show Necessary roughness (1991). She was in television films Ace Ventura Jr. Pet Detective (2009) and The Good Mother. She played Layla Grant, a major character in the Nashville second season of the drama. Peeples spoke about her bipolar illness during an interview she conducted the magazine NKD Magazine. Indiewire named Peeples to be one of the most talented actors under the age of 20 in September of 2014.
